To those who contacted me with interest in a Sewing Class! I've got some classes scheduled and will post the information here!

Intro to Sewing:

Beginners Class:


Intermediate :

Advanced: to be determined if enough interest

cost for classes: $50. / 2 classes; or $30/class
Advanced classes are 2 hours long for $60.

Each class builds upon the lessons of the previous one

BEGINNERS learn different kinds of sewing, hand vs machine, "tools of the trade", intro to kinds of fabric and needles, terminology, chance to try your hand at sewing an item!

BEGINNERS II : introduction to the sewing machine, troubleshooting problems with the machine, intro to patterns and how to read them, actually using the sewing machine and become familiar with different stitching...

INTERMEDIATE: Patterns and cutting out a pattern, learn about zippers and installing them, snaps, hook & eye, frog fasteners, buttons.

INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED: Intro to Serging, making buttonholes, become familiar with pellon , adjusting patterns to custom fit, tips for altering your clothes. (possibly hemming a pr of pants or other garment.

Intro to Sewing_'Ages 11-14: April 7, Sunday 2:30-4:30pm

Beginners Class: 1. 3/27 Wednesday 9:30-11 am;
2. 4/3 Wednesday 9:30- 11 am

Intermediate : 1. 3/29 Friday 6pm - 7:30pm
2. 4/1 Monday 6pm - 7:30pm

I’ve just advertised on the veneta community page for anyone whose interested in sewing lessons and anyone who has a “pile” they’ve Been making of things to get altered or fixed or mended! I’m taking orders once again after finishing a huge custom dress order! I’ll post a few pics but not the complete finished dressed up photo until first of April!
Contact me if interested in any of the above and we’ll get busy sewing!!
I also make earrings pendants and bracelets with the wire wrapping technique and have had classes to teach this as well! I will again if there’s interest!
