The woman speaking is Chava Zafrani. Above her is a photo of her beloved daughter Noy, who was murdered on October 7th at the Nova music festival, alongside her fiancé of one week. Chava bravely shared stories about Noy last night in NYC at a fundraiser for The Koby Mandell Foundation which helps bereaved family members rebuild their lives. Chava is speaking again tonight at the Mandell JCC at a free event at 6:30pm + I beg you to just come to listen as she shares Noy with our community. ‘Community and Connection are how we heal.’

Today, Sunday January 14th marks 100 days for the over 100 hostages still being held in Gaza. Ever since her beloved son Hersh was taken on October 7th, Rachel Goldberg has been wearing a piece of masking tape with the number of days Hersh and the others hostages have been missing over her heart. Today, she asked people all of the world to do the same.

I wear this piece of tape + I am sick about it. I am sad + outraged + scared + broken. We cannot stop thinking about these hostages + we all have to do something to get them out. I don’t want to see Rachel wearing 101 tomorrow. And I know Rachel doesn’t want to either.

Please, please, please BRING THEM HOME NOW.
