✂️ SEW COOL! Coming up tomorrow morning on WPTV, I'll take you to a summer camp in Lake Worth Beach where kids learn what so many of us did back in "Home Ec". What life skill/tip did you learn in that class? I learned, when you're cooking in the oven on 'broil', leave the door slightly open so your food doesn't burn. I still do it to this day! 3 years ago I had an idea to create a camp for girls to teach them beyond modeling and fashion. It was about life stills, how to style an outfit, basic hair and make up, how to hem a dress etc. With the help of a fellow model we created what was going to be a truly unique camp. Then the summer of COVID hit and everything was canceled.

I’ve decided to scale things back and create just a sewing camp. Focusing on the basic things, like how to use a sewing machine, how to hem, how to sew a button, fashion design process and little sewing craft projects. Sessions will only have 9 students.
I hope to teach the next generation a love of creativity and fashion.
