In January, I lost my dad while he was setting up for an Ohio State alumni gameday event, something he genuinely loved doing to support scholarship fundraising. Together, we built BuckeyeFanApparel.com back in 2010 as a way to give back to the Buckeye community, using only officially licensed gear and working in good faith with the university and its alumni clubs.

After his passing, I closed the store and donated all remaining merchandise to Florida-based Ohio State alumni clubs as a final tribute. Now, months later, I’ve been hit with a lawsuit from The Ohio State University over domain names tied to that same site. After a lifetime of loyalty and community involvement, this is the response we’re met with.

That said, I want to sincerely thank all the alumni clubs, friends, and loyal customers who supported BuckeyeFanApparel.com over the past 15 years. Your encouragement and enthusiasm meant the world to my dad and me. ❤️
