Every love story has characters who shape the journey.

Before readers meet all the people who influence K.B. and McKenzie’s relationship, I’d like to introduce one of the most important little people in the novel. Meet Lil Jax.

At just five years old, he doesn’t know anything about McKenzie’s past mistakes, public whispers, or painful memories.
To him, she’s simply Tee-Tee Kenzie.

Here’s a small excerpt from Chapter 3...

In the middle of her slow rebuild, one beam of light cuts through the shadows—Jaxson, whom she adorably refers to as Lil Jax, her five-year-old nephew with a snaggle-toothed grin and endless energy.
