This will be the final post for Kash Monkeys Closet. Please go on over to KMC Creations West Plains to like, follow and share its business page. We are now located at 240 West Main Street in beautiful downtown West Plains. For all your decorated garment needs, give us the opportunity to show you what we can do. From tees, hoodies, hats, sports jerseys and everything in between, can all be customized with FULL COLOR prints. Laser engraving, embroidery service and much more. Announcement time!

Kash Monkey's Closet is now under new ownership. The store will be closed for a few days as the new owners prepare it like they want it. They have promised to be committed to the West Plains community as we were. The Sterner family wishes to thank you our customers from the bottom of our hearts for all your support. Please go check out our other hometown business page KMC Creations West Plains as we have moved to 240 West Main in the West Main Plaza across from Robertson Drago. We are happy to be able to support downtown West Plains and look forward to serving our current and future customers. For all your custom garment decorating needs, custom drinkware, custom laser engraving, embroidery and coming soon trophy and awards. Right now we don't have set hours as we are running "Big Betty" hitting events. But give us a holler on our page, messenger or our phone 417-204-5500 should be operational on Thursday. This post is something that I am not taking lightly and we want the community and our customers to understand our thought process.
Kash Monkey's Closet was established 3 years ago with nothing but a push from the lord through prayer and a vision to help meet the needs of our community. We as a family pooled our cash together for 2 month to have enough money to get into our building and buy a couple of racks. The rest of the start up supplies came from our family excess or out growns. We did not start the business to make a living off of. We just wanted it to pay it's bills and give back.
Every dime we made went right back into purchasing things for the business or was donated to the community by assisting burn out victims, foster families, different community fundraisers or just those truly in need. At this point we either were purchasing the stock items out right or allowing trade in for different sizes. People were asking for custom garments so we decided to start making some by doing sublimation and direct to film. This took off crazy for us and we established KMC Creations West Plains we had no choice but to find a bigger building as we were busting at the seams with clothing. The building next door opened up and we took the leap to double our size to help more people. In December of 2023 we went to Facebook and we opened our doors for a completely free clothing event out of our store, no questions asked. I can almost guarantee no other business would or does do that! We did get a few donations from the event but that was all donated right back for meals for the needy for Christmas. Moving on we ended up purchasing a custom t-shirt and garment store in Theodosia, MO. We moved all the custom equipment including a garment printer, embroidery machine, lazer cutter and everything in between to our store. We have been very blessed as this has went crazy and we are now to the point where we can no longer keep up with the used clothing side of the business and the custom side. At this point we are needing to eliminate some of our load as we have some health issues we are dealing with and we are needing to expand the KMC Creations side to meet the demands of our customers.
I DO NOT want to close the store down as I want it to be able to continue serving the community so here is what I am proposing.

We are searching for someone that may be interested in purchasing the Kash Monkey's Closet side of the business and continue its community support. It would be the perfect opportunity for a retired person or a say at home mom that just wants out of the house for a few hours a day. There is great potential for this to grow into so much more, and be way more profitable for someone that has the drive to work a little.
If you or someone you know is or may be interested in this opportunity please send them our way as we will NOT discuss any of the other business details on Facebook or on messenger. Any correspondences will be in face to face. If you can not guarantee us you will continue community involvement or have the means to secure some funding there is no need to inquire. I will say the business has always been financally self supported since day one.
THIS IS SIMPLY A THOUGHT PROCESS WE ARE LOOKING AT RIGHT NOW AND WE ARE NOT CLOSING THE STORE AT THIS POINT!!!
