One of the biggest things I see as I meet entrepreneurs is how to manage work-life balance. And it's even more complicated as a female who wants a family.

Repeatedly, entrepreneurs say that "balance" is a fallacy. The more I get into business, the more I agree.

Over the weekend, the Hormozi's announced they're finally starting their family. I'm beyond excited for them. Out of all the accomplishments I've achieved, being a mother is by far the most rewarding and most challenging. It will be very interesting to see how they navigate this new chapter.

My parents were entrepreneurs, and because of how they ran their lives, I swore I would never become one. My mom worked really long hours, and I hardly knew my dad because he worked himself to the bone. There was nothing about that lifestyle I wanted.

Lol. And here I am.

Because there is something so powerful in using your God-given gifts to serve the world. I personally feel it's a calling.

Sharran Srivatsaa said it best: "When you give from your gifts, you never run out." He also lives by the rule of being where his feet are. Fully present at work, and fully present at home.
Having kids while building my business helped me keep the right things in perspective. I knew what I was building for. They were right in front of me the whole time.

Build for the right reasons. Build for the legacy. Do your "AND." Because purpose and fulfillment are far better than mountainous piles of cash. Nobody ever regretted not making more money. Including my parents. They (mostly my dad) regretted not building deeper relationships with those they loved most.

That's the legacy I'm building toward. My kids will know what true legacy is. I'm so determined.
