I have reinvented myself and my sewing and crafting knowledge *again*.

This time I will be offering small group craft workshops. The first is for a hand stitched decorative pillow in a choice of shabby chic hearts or colorful carrots. You will be the designer and select your favorite colors and fabrics

A very touching, very special commission has come to my studio.

An extremely sweet lady is in hospice care. I have been asked by her son to turn her scarves, pictured on the left, into 24 of my long-stem flowers. These flowers will be incorporated with fresh blossoms for the funeral and then go home with family members as cherished keepsakes.

Keepsakes come in all shapes and sizes. And I have made hundreds. But this order has touched my heart.

This vintage porcelain doll was in a box of donated stuffed animals and craft supplies headed to senior care facilities. The problem is her original sawdust-filled body is in horrible shape. My assignment is to put her back together so she can be loved and bring joy and happiness again. 💞
