BETTA Bag was born from our founder’s frustration with work bags that felt either too masculine or lacking in structure.

She believed you shouldn’t have to choose between organization and beauty, or function and femininity.

The result is a bag designed to bring ease, confidence, and flow from work to weekend and everything in between.

BETTA Bag started with a vision from our founder, Cristina, and the talent of her uncle, Nino. Cristina wanted to create a work bag that was both fashionable and functional after struggling to find one in the marketplace.

Nino learned the art of leather tooling while incarcerated. Together, they created the first BETTA Bag prototype in her Nonna’s basement.

Today, all BETTA Bag products are manufactured in Italy, but Cristina and Nino still work on designs and prototypes together. They’ve since graduated from the basement, but still keep Nonna’s sewing close to heart, now working out of a full leather shop where their ideas continue to come to life.
