I dropped this beauty at Patchwork Plus yesterday. I was moving it from one house to another and thought it should have a service and cleaning. I clean and oil, what I can on a regular basis. But I'm not sure it's ever had a service. My mom purchased this machine from the Singer store in downtown Harrisonburg (Virginia) in the early 1950's and used it until she bought a Bernina in the late 80's. I enjoy using it; it has a very distinct sound when sewing.
