IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION REGARDING JIM’S MEMORIAL SHIRTS 🤍
We have recently been made aware of a copycat memorial shirt that is being created and advertised for sale, and we want to clear up any confusion before anyone places an order thinking it is associated with our family or Menty B.
The ONLY memorial shirts that have been discussed with and approved by our family are the shirts being sold through Menty B. The other shirt currently circulating was not approved by, discussed with, or created in collaboration with our family.
The designs I created through Menty B were made specifically in memory of my pap, Jim, and this fundraiser was organized to help his wife, Cam, as she navigates the devastating loss of her husband while also recovering from the accident herself.
We completely understand that Jim was loved by so many people and that others may want something to remember him by. However, creating and selling memorial merchandise using his name, image, and information without first speaking to his family—especially while an official family fundraiser is already taking place—is incredibly disappointing and inappropriate.
If you would like to purchase a memorial shirt and support the official, family-approved fundraiser, please order directly through MentyB.shop. Shirts are shipped directly to you, and proceeds from this fundraiser are going directly to support Cam.
