I'm that mom that wants to always be in their children's corner. The one that doesn't live through their kids but is always lifting them up to be better humans.

My youngest two are members of our local 4H. This year, they were elected to leadership roles, president and vice president. I signed them up for leadership training and upon completing, Mr. President jumped on and started creating the monthly agenda.

Oh, and that one in the background? He's my athlete that is pretty good at singing. So this winter season he jumped into trying out for his musical. He made a lead role and has been committing his time to learning lines and dance routines! This was him chilling out after a long week of after school practices 🤣

I love watching them work hard for their goals and commit fully to succeeding.

Fall is a magical time of the year! The world slows down a little, the temperatures cool, and the leaves begin a magnificent show. I can smell the bonfires, taste the s'mores and apple cider, and feel the crunch of the leaves underfoot.

I know we aren't quite there yet but I'm already busting my fall favorites from storage! I'm counting down the days until pumpkin picking, hay rides, hoodies, and bonfires!

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Running your own business has some major perks. I can literally work from anywhere. Poolside, watching my kids sports practice, on a road trip, at the beach, and anywhere in between. Yes there's a lot of hard work. Yes it takes effort every day. But honestly, the perks outweigh the cons. I can do what I love, making women feel comfy in their skin, bringing them confidence they never knew they had no matter where I am.

If you could work anywhere, where would you choose?

I've spent many years in the shadows. Standing by while my kids had fun in the summer. Never comfortable in my own skin. Always worrying what others were thinking. And you know what? I. Was. Miserable. I hated my skin and hated not making memories. And one day I said screw it. We have one body, one chance to make those memories. A put that bathing suit on and joined my kids in their fun. My kids don't judge me but they remember the memories we make with them. They don't care about the imperfections, they care about the happiness.

So put on that bathing suit. Wear that shirt. Wear those pants. And make all the memories. Be that confident you, even when you aren't feeling it.
