"A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon. The teacher said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too." May your day be filled with happiness."

An old tired-looking dog wanders into a guy's yard. He examines the dog's collar and feels his well-fed belly and knows the dog has a home.
The dog follows him into the house, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep. The man thinks its rather odd, but lets him sleep. After about an hour the dog wakes up, walks to the door and the guy lets him out. The dog wags his tail and leaves.
The next day the dog comes back and scratches at the door. The guy opens the door, the dog comes in, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep again. The man lets him sleep. After about an hour the dog wakes up, walks to the door and the guy lets him out. The dog wags his tail and leaves.
This goes on for days. The guy grows really curious, so he pins a note on the dog's collar: "Your dog has been taking a nap at my house every day."
The next day the dog arrives with another note pinned to his collar: "He lives in a home with four children -- he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?' 😊

Lavender…100% dried lavender from France. Lavender can last for years. Can easily be revitalized by a simple shake or a squeeze. I remember years ago my Great Aunt would give me a Lavender Sachet every year for Christmas. I cherished each one. Lavender sachets are perfect for gift giving. Slip one under your pillow,(it promotes restful sleep), in a lingerie drawer or just about any where. Each sachet is made out of vintage fabrics, embroidery pieces that have been washed in Retro Clean, and pieced together to make a beautiful heirloom gift that anyone would love. They will measure approximately 5 inches by 5 inches or I will offer a 6 inch X 8 inch size, too. Time and care goes into each and every sachet and it gives me great joy to reuse pieces of vintage embroidery, vintage hankies, vintage laces, vintage feed sacks and pieces of vintage Lilly Pitzer fabrics. They look beautiful and smell wonderful. I only repurpose linens that no longer can be used for their intended purpose therefore small flaws may show up giving the sachets more character. Great housewarming gift, idea for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, a thinking of you gift, or a treat just for you. Age and fading adds a shabby character to them. They are great for keeping moths away. I am eagerly working on them now. I am excited to get them finished so I can share them with you. Nothing like the smell of Lavender buds. Look for pictures soon. Just in time for Christmas gifts.
