After a lot of reflection and prayer, I’ve made the decision to take an indefinite pause on Sewn. My momma always told me to “leave while the party is still fun”, and I’m still having a ball. However, mentally, I’m at max capacity. When I closed our storefront a year and half ago, my intention was to spend more time with family and on my artwork. It feels as if I’ve gone in the opposite direction, and now I’m faced with the decision to scale the business larger on its current trajectory, or to take a pause and reflect on what the future of Sewn holds. Thank you all for your support and business over the years! Stay tuned for what’s to come!
