I was very happy there was a break in the rain long enough for me to take a large load of goodies to my booths at Paramount Antique Mall! Proof that Junk Journaling has been around since the Victorian Era! 😆 I was so excited to find this yesterday at a local antique store. By the clothes and the mustache, I am dating this to the 1860s. This creative lady wove ribbon through holes, added embossed trim, hand drew lines and a pencil drawn cute owl and painted flowers. I love the angles. And, the frame is in incredible condition!

I found a lot of great things today but I think this is my favorite! Absolutely gorgeous hand sewn quilt. I can't imagine the hours that were put into it! The flowers are so beautiful! There are some stains but is in overall great condition! Coming soon to Paramount Antique Mall!
