I’m certain not a lot of people know this about me, but aside from being way into the outdoors, bike packing, camping, animals, traveling and loving National Parks, I have also been involved with the monster truck scene pretty much my whole life. I’ve always wanted to use the platform of monster trucks (which really do cater to kids) to promote the outdoors, protect wild places and just encourage kids to go outside and playing. After mulling the idea over for some time…this is what I came up with Wreckreation! , with the amazing help from , debuted the truck this weekend at the Monster Jam World Finals in Orlando, Florida. It was such a blast to hang out by the truck and talk to so many people who just absolutely loved the concept. I’m overwhelmed by the support and positive words from kids, adults, Monster Jam crew and as importantly other monster truck drivers. I think we’re on to something here.

HAPPY EARTH DAY fellow astronauts on spaceship earth. What a wonderful and magical planet we have inherited. Don’t take its bounty, it’s beauty or its splendor for granted…and treat her with the utmost respect and care, for we are nothing without her. She is as much a part of us as our own heart. Take away her trees and you take away your own lungs. Pollute her waters and you pollute your very being. ✌🏼❤️🐸

The second of 12 pieces is complete. The original drawing in my sketchbook was created on location in the jungle in southern Mexico and later added to on the beach, after a mind shattering spiritual journey with dear friends…and dogs, and monkeys…

Hello Instagram. Long time no see. That’s not to say great things haven’t been happening…just not a pull to post life stuff much. But I am working on a series of 12 new pieces for an upcoming show in July and will be sharing them here in various states of completion. This bizarre piece started out as a doodle next to a campfire in Burns Vista, Colorado some months back. Finished piece is 24x36, and will be mounted on board once printed.

In 1921 my great grandparents along with my grandfather, who was 12 at the time, fled the Volga River Valley in the Ukrainian amidst all the fighting during the Russian civil war. Now, 100 years later Russia is again fighting…fighting my people. My heart goes out to all those who’s lives are in turmoil due to the actions of an insane human being, who chooses to use the lives of others to do his greedy work. Being content with what you have is the cornerstone of what it means to be grateful. Being the largest country on planet earth at over six and a half million square miles, you might think would be enough for one man. Apparently not, and millions of people will now suffer because of what is unfolding this very day. It is my sincere desire that the power of love and peace will prevail. It is also my desire that neighboring countries, and kind people around the world will open their hearts, and their doors, to the millions who will be fleeing once again from this waring land. Let us all be kind to those in need of our help as so many were one hundred years ago when my very own family needed it. 🕊❤️🌎🙏🏼
