Well, the plaid option won by FOUR votes ( it was a close race with the polka dots), and it’s actually working out pretty well! Some of you mentioned it might be hard to line up, so to fix that problem, I fussy cut the strips, and added orange corner posts. I think I’m gonna like it!

Ok, here we go. Sooooo many people suggested a blue of some sort, and since it IS the compliment to orange, that makes perfect sense. I had at first thought I’d use a solid, but someone suggested a print, and then someone suggested a plaid! So I shopped my vintage stash, and here are my options. I’m forming a personal opinion already, but I’d love to hear what you all think. Or do I ditch all of these and start completely over, or go back to contemplating a solid? 🤔
