Everyone makes mistakes! It’s how you respond to them, is key! Do you have any advice for those that make a mistake on the pitch?

One mistake rarely destroys your game. Your reaction to it does. You misplace a pass, miss a chance, or get beaten in a 1v1, and that moment is usually gone in seconds. But too many players drag it with them for the next ten minutes.

That is when the mistake doubles. You stop asking for the ball. You start playing safe. Your body language drops. You look at the sideline. You argue with yourself. You turn one bad moment into five more because your head stayed stuck in the first one.

That is what coaches notice. Not just the mistake. The response. The best players I’ve worked with still make mistakes. Of course they do. The difference is they do not let one moment steal the next one. They reset quickly, demand the ball again, and stay in the game mentally.

That is a trained skill. Composure is not pretending you do not care. It is caring enough to respond properly. It is owning the mistake, correcting the next action, and refusing to let frustration make decisions for you.

This weekend, you will make mistakes. Every player will. Your job is not to be perfect. Your job is to respond like a serious player.

Super Copa Finals! The boys won the gold medal 2-1! They were down a player the last 25 minutes of the game and overcame it! They worked together as a team and finished on top! Way to go boys! Let’s Go Rush!!

Super Copa Semifinals! Half the game was played last night. We had a lightning delay, which then became an hour delay for a downpour. We had to finish the game this morning with a win of 2-0! Let’s Go Rush! Moving on to the Finals!

Super Copa Update: Last night the boys tied their second game 2-2. This morning the boys won their third game 2-1! Waiting to see our ranking for moving forward. Way to go Rush!!
