Gina Marquis learned how to sew in middle school and since then has not stopped learning. Her freshman year of college she learned how to knit and shortly after taught herself how to crochet. With a passion for creating things and not enough closet space for her endless creations, she decided to open up a shop. This shop, the Little Foxes, consists of color, fun, and quality work. Some Heirloom Quilt Cardigan squares fresh off the blocking mat! These are the lower contrast combos and some of them are like those optical illusion books that you have to slowly move away from your eyes before the design pop outs… or stays hidden. 😂

I have just 3 squares left now before I can seam them all together! I honestly have not even thought about what yarn I’m going to use for the sleeves and ribbing. I may just make it really scrappy and use up each of these skeins until they run out. Or maybe I’ll do stripes? I don’t even know yet how much yarn that’ll take so hopefully I have enough. 🥲🙏

Finishing up these front panels of the project bags and the rest should go so much faster. 😮‍💨 I know these are coming along super slow but I am loving them so much. Some days I get an hour or so to work on things and some days I get about 10 minutes so I’m just going at a pace that works for me. 💕

This time around I have also not really missed dyeing yarn which is really weird but for a while before I gave birth I was already feeling a bit burned out. Not necessarily from the dyeing itself but from the social media aspect and marketing. It’s been really difficult trying to navigate some of the different app and algorithm changes that accompany selling online and constantly trying to create content was mentally taxing a bit. Getting back into sewing has been so nice and of course I’ve been getting to read still!

Side note but this song just dropped and I’ve been listening to it on repeattttt. A new band with ex members of mewithoutYou, Underoath, Norma Jean, and the Chariot?? Like this was made for me and I cannot wait for them to give us an album.

Not the most aesthetic shots but I’ve finally gotten back to sewing between naps and I love how these stars turned out. 🥹 Tempted to turn them into a quilt but they will be used for project bags! I don’t know how long it’ll take to finish them though. 😅 I do need to get some contrasting fabrics to finish them so stay tuned.

I used all 5 variegated colorways to make the ruffle and I love how it turned out so much! I also love including knitted squares with all the granny ones. It adds such a unique look without too much extra effort. 💕

There is still a good amount of yarn left from this ready to ship collection! Another Littlest Fox colorways are so perfect for Spring and Summer. Like look how perfect this blanket came out. 🥹 I couldn’t be happier with it, even if it took forever to finish lol

Hello, hello! I am still here. 🙂‍↔️ It only took exactly 1 month to decide the order of these squares and seam them together! I still have to finish the border and attach the bows to some of the squares (and ignore the loose ends) and my baby will finally have a nice warm blanket for summer lol for real though it was already 90 degrees for a few days last week and it was awful. Baby wearing when it’s hot out is not for the faint of heart (but I do it anyway 😮‍💨).

Another Littlest Fox collection still has lots of skeins left for you! The cashmere blend is so beautiful and soft, and has definitely slept on so far. 💕

Another Littlest Fox is live! 🎀

Thank you all for your patience with this release as it did go a bit later than I intended but I also thought I’d be a little more prepared before I ended up giving birth a week before my due date. 😅

I’m so proud of this collection and I’m excited to bring another littlest fox into this world and to celebrate her with bright colors, soft yarns, and creativity that I wish to instill in her always. 💕 Thank you for letting me share this moment with you all and I cannot wait to see what you make with these. I hope you feel extra love in every skein!

As a reminder, this is a ready to ship collection so all of the yarn that will be available is currently listed. Processing times are set for 7-9 days to allow time for packing orders and getting to the post office. ✨
