“In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul” - is one of my favorite lines from one of my most cherished poems (Desiderata, Max Erhmann, 1927). I have it tattooed on my foot and my kids can attest I’ve had the poem hanging on my wall “forever.”
Things are a little noisy right now, a lot of it good and happy noise, mind you; but I’m an introvert by nature and what brings me calm and helps me “process,” even for an hour late in the evening, is the quiet contemplative act of creating things, hitting that “flow” button in my brain for a little while.
The video is a sampling of what I’ve been playing with among other things I plan to be offering shortly. I’ll have a few of these items with me today at Dawson’s Four Mile. Come check ‘em out if you like - think of them as “jewelry for your home!” 🤩 Each piece is truly one of a kind, ideas pulled from the ether. Perhaps they will carry a bit of the calm into your world that creating them brought me. Thanks to my friend for the beads! P.S. I’ll probably keep some of these at Hansen’s as well as at All The Rage and at JJLyn’s Boutique (oh - hey - did you know you can now find some of my jewelry at JJLyn’s too!? 😊 Check out her store - Rhonda’s got great clothing and a lot more - really cool gift ideas!
