Sheep helping mow my very wet lawn

I have taken down my website.
I felt like if I have no sheep for sale and untill the pastures are cleaned up ( happening in May) wool will be to VM loaded to offer. I dont want to give a faults presents.
The move has been a challange. I was hit with no fence or clear pasure. It took untill Nov to fix that issue. They got pole worms right off the bat. Ever sheep breeder in the area lost lambs at about a month old this spring. My flock was no exception. I also had a coyote strike.
My old dog is good but old. The new one is not quite 2. Im in line for a male in June. A dog I brought from Iowa killed 6 sheep in one night. She is no longer with us. Like I said, its been a challange it will take time to rebound from.
Rumplestiltzskin is doing great. Spiderwick did sheer blue. Both rams have made it in style through all this. The ewes that remain have solid diverce genetics. Im sure now that fencing is up, land is getting cleared this year will be better. It will be a 2-5 yr recover on ewe numbers.
I will have wethers for sale at weaning. I wont be keeping them as I had in the past. Guaranteed blue wethers will be 1yr. All wethers start at 400.00. I will have at least 1 gold this fall.

Since the move to Missouri Ive been able to measure how much water 50 head of sheep and one very large 18yr Longhorn drink.
Its very hot and humid here now. The buckets is what they get in a 24 hour period. The tub is what is left on a very hot over 100 degree day.
Hows that for efficiency!!

The American Blue Morritt sheep ( name chosen by Customers of Inspirational Ewe in a contest) is still more of a type, then a breed. Although it has been in development for 10yrs, with records and photos kept by Evens Software, it just hasn't been around long enough to be a breed. It is consistent,....
