October is breast cancer awareness month! With 1 out of every 8 women being diagnosed with breast cancer it is important to be reminded to have an annual mammogram. Studies have shown that consuming foods rich in antioxidants can arm your body with cancer fighters. The tea plant (Camellia sinensis) is one of the richest sources of antioxidants. White tea has the highest level of antioxidants of all leaf tea. Patricia Dennison Certified Tea Sommelier will be raising a cup to all the cancer survivors & in remembrance of those we lost with samples of Lemon Ginger white tea on "Tea Tasting Tuesday" October 6th from 2-5pm. The ginger in this blend is an ideal tummy soother for those undergoing cancer treatment.
