Yesterday's spin for the tour is on the right and, today's spin for the tour is on the left. I plan to ply my singles together on Monday to see what kind of finished yarn I will have. Stay tuned , and remember to check out the amazing folks at Olde Skye Farms who gifted these fleeces to me.

Today's spin for the tour. Getting a little smoother each day.

First spin of the Tour. I'm very rusty at spinning but, this is soft fiber. I have never spun from fleece before and , the yarn is coming out very "rustic".

I'm getting ready to participate in my first ever Tour de Fleece! My goal is to spin this beautiful Babydoll fleece that was gifted to me by the amazing folks at Olde Skye Farms . I am a little rusty at spinning but, my goal is at least 30 minutes of spinning each day of the Tour. I'll post my daily results so you can follow along .

The first picture is of the amount of fleece that I have already washed.The other pictures are of the fleeces. Three dark brown/black and one mostly white .

I'm re-posting this. We adopted our sweet boy ,Onyx, from Olde Skye Farms back in December. He is a sweet, loveable and, playful little guy. One of his siblings is still looking for a forever home. If you need a house panther of your own, let me know.
