She’s a sweet little dress. Left behind, but found its way back to me. Far out lasting the marriage. My sister was married just the year or maybe two before me. We both had worked for Nordstrom. At the time there was the most talented group of alterations, tailors, stitchers and seamstresses working for the company. My sister hired Miriam to make her wedding dress and I was just lucky enough to follow suit. I drew the most simple drawing of what I wanted. My mom and I shopped for the fabric and laces, most of which came from the Mill End Store. And Miriam made me this. Regardless of what has happened since, I still love this little dress.
