So sad to miss Beekman Street Arts District Art Fair today due to a fabulous wedding weekend of a dear friend. Hoping you all make a trip to support the wonderful artists! As always my textiles can be found at The Beekman Atelier. Enjoy !

This is a series on how to attach a facing . 1. Match shoulders and stitch in facing at the appropriate seam allowance. Mine is 1/2 inch. 2. Trim off half the seam allowance on facing side. 3. Clip the curve every 1/2inch staying 1/8” away from seam. 4. Press seam toward facing then stitch to facing. 5. Top stitch facing in place. 6. Line up shoulder of facing with shoulder of top and stitch in the ditch of the seam.
