To our Facebook Friends:
On Sunday morning January 30, my granddaughter Meaghan Brady Shea was a passenger seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident in which her best friend, Bernadette “Benny” Reynolds lost her life. Meaghan and Benny went to high school together, and played Lacrosse for Loudoun Valley.
I know many of you know Meaghan, the blonde young lady that usually works on Sundays at the Shoppe.

Meaghan sustained serious head, neck, and bodily injuries, but she is going to be okay. The emotional injuries could last a lifetime.

I ask for your prayers for Meaghan and for Benny’s parents and siblings. I am grateful to God that He spared my granddaughter, but heartbroken that we have lost Benny.

To all of our friends and supporters…

After surviving Covid, the Pandemic shutdown, the flood in our store, and some medical issues, it is with a heavy heart my store presence on 109 E. Main St. Purcellville is coming to an end. I hope you know we did not want to leave, we had no option, but this Fighting Irish girl will never give up!!
The hardest part is leaving the relationships we have built all these years, with our wonderful and loyal customers who have become our friends. At the close of business this Saturday, September 25th, we will start packing up the store and begin to make the transition into our new venture.
So it is not goodbye, but hoping you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in our much larger location, where we will be adding lots of new and exciting lines both in Piper Dan's Keltic Shoppe Irish & Scottish Imports and Katie's Country Outfitters. Also, a new Irish Pub recently opened around the corner from us on the walking mall, called Ellie’s Irish Pub! We hope you will make the short scenic trip through the Shenandoah Valley to come visit us and our neighbors, we promise not to disappoint! Thank you so much for supporting us through the good times and the hard times, for believing in small business, and for continuing this journey with us.

Hi everyone, we wanted to let you know on September 3rd our store sustained extensive water damage to our floors. This has caused us to remove all inventory and place it into storage while our shop is being totally renovated. I have been informed this process could take approximately two months, but I will be sure to keep you informed as we moved forward. Thank you for your support through COVID and now this.
