𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐮𝐛. 𝐀 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. ✨ ​

​This client’s bathroom already had plenty of natural light, but the dark green marble, beadboard and tan walls made the space feel much more enclosed.​

​

We replaced the drop-in tub with a freestanding soaker, added a curbless walk-in shower, and lightened the room with soft grey walls and cream tile.​

​Same windows. Same footprint. A much lighter, more open feel.​

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬. ​

​This client’s staircase brought a rustic-traditional look to the entrance, with honey oak, ornate ironwork and stacked stone.​

​We updated it with espresso treads, white risers, a square black newel, stainless cable railings and light oak at the base.​

​Same footprint. Completely different first impression.​

​Who’s using the kitchen first? Where does everyone gather? What are you constantly walking around, reaching over or wishing worked better?​

​Those everyday details are often where the real design decisions begin.​

​A home can look beautiful, but if it makes your normal routine harder, something has been missed.​
