Welcome everyone to Little and Moxie! I started this shop about a year ago and wasn't sure where it was going to go. I love wearing bows in hair at work, I have very long, curly, and big hair. So, while bows on Etsy were absolutely adorable and well made, they looked very silly compared to the size of my hair! So I said, "Heck, I have a sewing machine...and a dream... I'll just make my own!" After starting to make my own and wearing them to work, I got a lot of compliments and support to start selling them. Little and Moxie was founded at a very low point in my life, and brought me joy and purpose again to create and make wonderful things.
From that, the logo was made! Cardinals have always been a sign that someone is watching over me and I am where I need to be. The cardinal's name is Mard, his name made up of the first letter of the names of the people who have supported me the most. In order, my Dad, my Mother in law, my Mom, and my Husband! Mard is sitting on the moon because he reached for the stars, and made it all the way up there.
In addition to bows, Little and Moxie has branched out to many more handmade and useful items and hopes to keep growing our inventory! Thank you for your support and I hope to make something for you soon!
