I love getting to share photos! This one was a while back. I ran into Naomi last weekend and asked her to share some pictures with me. Naomi wanted to wear her mother's wedding gown but she had some changes in mind. Together we worked to make the dress fit her vision and go from it being Mom's dress to Naomi's dress.

I love seeing wedding day photos! Claire wanted to use the sleeves from her mother Jenni's wedding dress on her own sleeveless dress. It took several fittings but I think it turned out beautifully! The sleeves were worn during the ceremony then removed for the reception. Thank you Claire and Jenni for trusting me to help you make your vision come true!

I've shared this on my personal page but this little guy is still looking for a nice air-conditioned house with a lap to snuggle into.

Hey everyone. I want you to meet Mister Stella. (He was named before I figured out he was male šŸ˜‰ so now he's MISTER Stella). I'd seen him for a couple months out in the pasture living the rough life but little by little he started coming up close to the house and I set out to make friends with him. This guy is such a calm, sweet, loving boy. He was covered with matted hair but he calmly sat at my feet while I combed and cut the matts off of him (the bald spots on his sides). He purred while I pulled all of the ticks off of him. I found him a place to be a barn cat but this boy needs to be someone's lap cat. I have an appointment to have him fixed and rabies vaccination on July 26th. If you'll give him a home I'll follow through on paying for that appointment. He's just such a sweet little boy. He needs to be someplace that gives him all the love he gives back.

This was posted on a formal wear sewing page I follow. Yes. Yes, to all. I actually wear my slippers to work fairly often since my commute is so short and nobody is around to notice! I've never bled on someone's garment but I stab myself at least once a day.

Raise your hand if youā€¦
- found a new glitter ā€œbeauty markā€ on your face in the morning, before beginning any work
- have found sequins and glitter in areas of your home, car, or other people's homes where you donā€™t sew
- gone to work in your house slippers (yes, those onesā€¦ with cats on them)
- pricked a finger and bled twice this week
- only know what day it is because you have an order due this day or soon
- glared at or swore at a garment
- have named all your sewing machines
- have forgotten to eat for most of a day
- have attempted to live on chocolate
- have found pins in your clothing hours after leaving your work
- have eaten dinner at midnight
