Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸
249 years ago today, the Second Continental Congress approved the design of a national flag.
There have been 27 official United States flag designs so far, many of which can be found flying in Old Salem!
Check out oldsalem.org/summer-of-freedom for more info about our flag scavenger hunt (INCLUDING prizes for our young historians!) and everything else we have going on this summer.
