My name is Jeanolee, Author of God Likes the Sound of Good Times (the story behind the brand). I'm a wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, also the founder of Class & Polish, our tagline is Controlled Actions = Power. Class & Polish is not only a stately apparel brand but a lifestyle, a movement! This brand is an extension of me, an extension of us. Our community is hurting, there's always somet

hing. I always say "If you ain't going through something then you ain't living." I was searching for ways to stand up for what I believe in, and reach out to my community to show support and solidarity. Class & Polish also represents the heritage instilled in me by my loved ones. As a young lady raising herself, whenever I'd get off track, I'd think of my grandmother's that have passed, they always had Class & Polish about themselves. Class & Polish is a way for me to tell my story and inspire others just like me. To free us from things that almost broke us. I've always found strength in the midst of my struggles and a way to heal. If you don’t heal from what hurt you, you’ll bleed on those that didn't cut you!

When I was a little girl growing up, I watched Kim Fields on TV and was constantly inspired by her talent, grace, and authenticity.

Her roles in Baby I’m Back as Angie Ellis (before the braces🙃) and as Tootie on The Facts of Life was more than just entertainment; it was a source of guidance and a beacon of hope. Seeing someone who looked like me on screen, portraying such a strong and relatable character, instilled in me a sense of pride and possibility. She made me believe that I, too, could achieve my dreams.

When I was younger I had never imagined I’d become an Author, let alone of a memoir of such an impactful life story, reference Kim Fields’s in my book and how she inspired me and then be blessed to have a weekend with her to share these moments.

For those of you who have read my book, you know how much this means to me.

I had no idea that I’d ever get the opportunity to have breakfast with Kim and give her a signed copy of my memoir (the story behind the brand). To also then watch her sign her book for me and put a special note in it for me, the 7yr old little girl in me was and still is doing cartwheels right now. God is so good. I am so blessed, full and grateful❣️🙏🏽

As I followed her career over the years, I have been continually impressed by her dodging the negative child star traps, her versatility and the integrity with which she has conducted herself. Whether acting, directing, or producing, she has always brought a unique blend of excellence and humility to her work.

Her commitment to uplifting and empowering our community has been evident in everything she has done.Her humble demeanor has set a powerful example for so many of us. She has shown that success and kindness can go hand in hand, and she has proven that it is possible to remain true to oneself while making significant contributions to the world. Like her hat says permission granted❣️🙌🏽💐👑

I had the pleasure of meeting the super fantastic celebrity Chef at , a wonderful time was had.🙌🏽😅

Carla taught us how to make some tasty post workout treats. I was also able to give Carla a signed copy of my memoir (the story behind the brand Class & Polish) line dance with her and have dinner with her.

Carla is 60 years old and has the energy of a toddler and the kindest soul❣️💐👑
