This look was designed to emulate breath - soft, fluid, and ever-moving. The sculptural one-shoulder piece moves like air made visible. Paired with embellished trousers that ground the look in structure and light, this piece lives in the balance between ethereal and powerful.

For the 50th Anniversary of the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., this was my interpretation of modern elegance where breath becomes fashion, and movement becomes statement.

A fully sequined crimson gown sculpted to the body, catching every light with intention. The silhouette speaks classic glamour and regal drama. Paired with luxe red foxtails that glide with every step. She is unapologetically grand.

Honored to witness and celebrate 50 years of impact, sisterhood, and service with the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This fashion show was more than style. It was a tribute to excellence, history, and the enduring brilliance of Delta women.

Featuring a bold teal statement piece flowing in volume and movement. The look is elevated with layered pearls that nod to timeless Delta elegance, paired with a fascinator for a regal edge. Finished with a hatbox stamped with bemade, this piece embodies sophistication, confidence, and legacy in every step. ✨

It was the honor to design the inaugural gown for Chancellor Bonita Brown , the 14th and first female Chancellor of my beloved alma mater, Winston-Salem State University.
The gown, titled “Scarlet Proclamation” is a celebration of legacy, progress, and the powerful elegance of a woman stepping boldly into history.

Crafted in WSSU’s signature color, it features a one-shoulder chiffon drape symbolizing forward movement, hand-placed rhinestones honoring her brilliance and an overskirt for added majesty( and drama ❤️)

This photo of Chancellor Brown standing with pride and grace and seeing the smile on her face is truly unforgettable.

I was beyond proud to be of service to my university, our Chancellor, and to a moment that will live forever in RAM history.

This ball gown carries the rich history of the quilt in the African American community. Quilts have long been more than fabric, they are storytellers, stitching family histories, marking moments, and even pointing the way to freedom. Scraps became survival.
