**It's vital we prioritize our pets' well-being by protecting them from the heat, and together, we can make a difference. Please refrain from leaving your dog or any pet in your car during warm months, especially, even with the windows cracked, and let's keep them safe. Today's temperature reached 92°, and my car's interior temperature was 109°, even with the windows cracked, a powerful reminder of the importance of our actions. I saw a Chihuahua in a car, displaying signs of heat exhaustion at Lowe's hardware, a dog-friendly establishment, I handled the matter along with help of the store manager and concerned customers. Either leave your dog at home or bring them into the store. If you don't know how to take care of a pet, it's best not to have one, and that's a responsible choice.**

I created this mug as a tribute in loving memory of my loving and caring mama, Donna Read, who passed away last December. I have placed it in my online store. Although it's deeply personal, I wanted to share it with others who may have a connection to this. 'A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck' - a sweet phrase that resonates with me. Every phone call with mama ended on a sweet note, as we'd say 'Beep boop' - a special bond that I'll always treasure.

Life has been happening lately and I’ve had to push FDW aside, but I’ve had some time to get back to making some new designs for my merch. This month is slipping by but I definitely have not forgotten about Autism Acceptance Month. This design does include the puzzle pieces, but I do have more that will load soon including the infinity symbol and other Autism related colors. Dogs, cats, and maybe a surprise animal or two, feel free to make suggestions. I have loaded some older designs from last year as well!

Speaking of Dogs Rescue has been lovingly embracing and caring for displaced and abandoned senior dogs for 25 years now. We offer each one a kind and compassionate foster family, quality and thorough medical attention, healthy, wholesome food and a soft bed. If it turns out they are at the end of life stage, we have our Forever in Foster program (FIF) which offers palliative care. That program was created in 2005 and has supported hundreds of dogs (with thanks, as always, to our FIF team)
