"My name is Vilma. I am 42 years old and I am happily married with two wonderful children. I strive everyday to move forward and fight for my children’s dreams and also my own. I started working when I was 11 years old, after my dad left us. My first job was as a shoemaker’s assistant. At 13, I started working with my mother, who taught me the craft of sewing. I worked for many years at different stores, but the work was always very poorly paid, which led me to make the decision of starting my own business. Today, I thank Into the Light International for giving me the opportunity to market my products through Uniquely Handmade. It will be a blessing for my family and I. A little bit of my life, my time, and my knowledge goes into each product I make. Each item has been prepared with a lot of dedication and love for my craft. It fills me with satisfaction knowing that my product will go beyond the borders of my country. Thanks be to God, for He is the One who opens paths for us."
