The cars rush by me,
in a way that is familiar,
yet so incredibly foreign.
I was once rushing these roads, too,
with the same parking sticker
adorning the back window of my car,
like some kind of symbol of success.
We’re all heading to the same location,
but for the last nine years,
I’ve been the patient.
One minute, I was the employee.
And in an instant,
I was no longer.
Scans, surgeries, pokes, pain.
My entire life’s purpose
was to find a job,
make a living,
help support a family.
Nothing else mattered.
That all changed in a blink,
in what was the most painful
and greatest way for my life
to be turned upside down.
On the other side of the parking sticker.

PLEASE STAY.

Stay for one more minute. Then stay for another - because don’t have to figure out forever tonight.
Stay for tomorrow’s sunrise - even if you don’t feel hopeful yet, give yourself the chance to see another morning.
Stay for your kids (or your future kids) and the little moments you haven’t gotten to experience yet. For the conversations, milestones, hugs, and ordinary Thursday nights still ahead.
Stay for the person who would rather sit beside you in your darkest moment than have to live without you.
Stay because this moment is not the whole story - you are in the middle of it and I promise you it gets so much better!
Stay for the version of you who hasn’t met the life that’s still possible.
Stay for the good cup of coffee, for a much needed belly laugh, the song that hits differently, and for the unexpected moment that gives you a glimmer of hope.

Please stay for the things you haven’t seen yet.
For the places you haven’t gone, the people you haven’t met, and the memories you haven’t made.

Stay long enough to let someone help you because you don’t have to carry this by yourself.

Please stay - because God is not finished writing your story.
He can and will sustain you. Give it to him.
And please stay.

Very fluent! 💜💜
Anyone else?

I think we get so down on ourselves sometimes, as if God doesn’t already know how messy we can get.

Like He’s up there thinking, Goodness, I was not expecting this from her today. 😂

Meanwhile, He knows me.

Oh, He knows I can go from “Lord, I trust You” to mentally rehearsing seventeen different disasters before I’ve finished my coffee. He’s heard the prayers where I’ve been calm and full of faith,and He’s heard the ones where I’ve cried, rambled, complained, got a little cranky and eventually run out of words altogether.

Some prayers have genuinely just been, “Jesus… please.”

And you know what? I’m starting to think we put far more pressure on ourselves to pray properly than God ever did.

He already knows what’s underneath the words. He knows the fear hiding behind the frustration, the grief underneath the anger, and exactly what I mean when all I can manage is a sigh and His name.

Romans 8:26 even tells us that when we don’t know what to pray,the Spirit intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Wordless groans.

Well, for me that’s reassuring.

Turns out God isn’t intimidated by the unfiltered version of me. I don’t have to clean up my thoughts or get them in order before I bring them to Him.

He’s heard it all.

And goodness, He sure is fluent in my wildness. For that, I’m truly grateful.

“We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”-Romans 8:26

We’re not a big operation.

We don’t have have a building or even a full room dedicated to creating.

We use what we have - a dining room turned office that my husband works from home in, and a decent sized entry way with fold up tables.

We’re definitely not trying to take over the apparel market - we just want to support our kids dreams and pay down medical bills, while giving mom battling hard things a creative outlet.

We’re a husband and wife team - one who works full time and then some - and one battling a plethora of medical things full time.

We love the Lord, our boys, baseball, and most any other sport.

We’re just doing what we can to help teams, clubs, schools, and anyone else we can, represent what’s important to them and feel great while they do it.

We’re want to show our kids that while life can be hard and unfair at times, it’s important to show up for yourself, each other, and for your people.

It’s more than business.

It’s love.
It’s community.
It’s family.

If life gets hard - and it will - please remember that the God who created the universe loves YOU. Let that be enough to KEEP GOING!
