Our beloved customers and friends. Tom and I started Stay Tuned in May of 1988. Cassettes, albums to start. Then came the infamous Sundog tie-dyes. They wear like steel; you may still have one! Compact discs and Bohemia came later and we were the hippest store in town! Billboard approached us within a few years and set us up with a system to report our sales as we were one of the few independent music stores in the State. We had the most amazing of staff, and so many are still friends today. We love them all dearly. In 1992 we opened our sister store, Made on Earth, and started our international travels to bring fair trade clothing and gifts.
It’s been a fun and amazing journey. We have soooo many stories!
There are too many of you all to thank but know we are forever grateful. Stay Tuned will be closing its doors the end of this season. Your favorite lines will be going to MadeOnEarth and Blacks so be sure to look for them there!
Thank you thank you thank you. What a long strange trip it’s been.
