It is with a generous dose of bittersweet that we announce the permanent closure of Baron's Sewing Center on Friday, March 31st, 2023.
We have enjoyed the privilege of serving the creative sewing community for over 60 years - that's over 4 generations! - spanning from the San Fernando Valley all the way to Santa Barbara and everywhere in between.
Beginning our business journey originally with Herb Baron for 20+ years and later partnering with his son, Hugh, at our current location, we remain so very grateful to you, our customers, for sharing your patronage and creative spark. The longstanding goal of Baron's Sewing Center has always been to provide "makers' such as yourselves with informed and personalized service, stocking on-trend, top quality fabrics and notions, plus offering sales, instruction and factory-trained service of the finest sewing and embroidery machines made worldwide.
We've made so many friendships here in providing practical support for all your creative needs spanning the years to celebrate new babies, new homes, weddings, christenings, bar mitzvahs and so much more. We will keep our email, [email protected], available for a good, long time so please make sure to contact us with any questions or queries.
It's been a pleasure to serve you. We would love to collect any special memories of Baron’s that you would be willing to share with us.
You will all be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
