A Heartfelt Thank You from The Thoughtfulness Shop & My Little Bow Peeps Shop

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that The Thoughtfulness Shop and My Little Bow Peeps Shop will be closing our Woodstock storefronts at the end of June 2026.

Over the past several months, Janice has faced some significant health challenges, and it has caused us to reevaluate our priorities. As a family and business team, we’ve made the decision to focus our efforts on our apparel production operations and consolidate everything into a single location so we can work together and spend more time together.

Our 6+ years on the Woodstock Square have been an incredible journey. We’ve met so many wonderful customers, made lifelong friendships, and created memories that we will always treasure. We are deeply grateful for the support, encouragement, and kindness you’ve shown us along the way.

While our retail storefront is closing, this is not goodbye. You can still find The Thoughtfulness Shop and My Little Bow Peeps Shop online through our websites, Etsy, Amazon, Facebook, and other future ventures we have planned.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our story. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know!

We have had some time to work on organizing our “new” Snow Village display area, so I wanted to provide some picture updates for you to enjoy. Take your time, zoom in, and text Craig at (815) 529-5444 if you have interest in any of the items. I have tried putting coordinating accessories with their “parent” building on the shelves. Also, if you want to receive a .pdf email of our Snow Village inventory list, or any other Dept 56 village line, text an email address to Craig, or drop a FB message to us with the email. Happy searching the pictures, they generally start in the 1970’s and work innorder to 2025, then trees, trains and accessories without building ties, or buildings we are currently sold out of!

Well we finished our “move out” yesterday but I did not have the time to “organize” everything as we moved it, but the new Snow Village display in the basement of The Thoughtfulness Shop is taking shape. Here are some prelim pictures. Question, any thoughts on the “boxes” on the displays? I only left ones that truly have never been “cut open” before, but many buildings put on display on the shelves were definitely close to “new in box”, but the taoe had been cut before, and many I have never seen out before, so it has been enjoyable!
