Here’s how my day’s going 😆🫣
Gosh I hate having to rip things back. I think it’s all those tiny little threads that are such a pain to get off the fabric I despise, lol.

I’m working on my witches hat design. Trying to get my measurements and sizing down. Whenever I’m designing something I typically have a long process before I even get to sewing it together. I work out the way it should come together in my head and then on paper. Sometimes when I go to sew it works out great and then other times I have to redo it multiple times to get it just right. It’s weeks or sometimes months in planning for me.

When I’m designing I’m not just putting together something I can make. I’m sure to keep in mind how other people would be trying to make it as well. Thinking about what may be too difficult for some. I’m all about the easiest way if I can! That’s why I spend so much time thinking about it before I even start sewing☺️

I’m aiming for two sizes with these hats. One with a tall top that can be smooshed down to get that look I showed off yesterday, and then a shorter top that can stick straight up. Then with options for short brim or wider brim. I think that would be nice. I love having more than one size option.

I’m excited to get all the kinks worked out so you all can make some too! Should be early this week if it all works out as planned! I can just see all the fun options and embellishments with these!! These could be worn or even just for decoration.
