Saw something from a golfer recently that reminded me that what we resist persists. We benefit from persistence more then resistance. It’s not that there is never a need to resist. But how much time and energy is spent resisting change, resisting people, and situations, resisting the moment. Ya I’m one of those woo woo people. Golf reminds me of life. I spend the first few holes dealing with my personality! I grip too hard, try to hit that ball as hard as a can, resisting my record of sucking on the first hole. Me there I go.....again..... ball 1 me 0. Ha! We can be upset about our handicap, we can be frustrated by our lack of ability as of yet, or we can make peace with where we are at in our game and in life knowing that if we just persist, if we just PLAY, we will get better! Persistence is fun. Persistence is passion. Resistance is exhausted.....fighting demons all day. I’ll be like FIYA I’ll flow, consume, do what’s natural, with the wind, cause I’m powerful naturally, destructive and wild, I don’t need to prove myself, I consume cause I love it, I consume cause I am. Some people get paid to put out 🔥!!! Any thank god! 🔥 can get out of control and it can hurt people . But got FIYA of his own. He’s mastering his own swing every single time the weather allows, he’s supporting smaller golf companies when he buys clubs, he’s livin life to the fullest and he’s a man of principles and a man of the people!
