I'm adding a fun product to my selection this year - beeswax wraps! They take the place of plastic wrap for storing food. Made with organic beeswax you'll be able to choose from 2 sizes - 7x7" and 12x12". I'll see you at the Mighty Tieton Holiday Bazaar in about a week! Saturday, December 1st!

Friends, we moved to Pittsburgh, PA last August (jeez, has it been that long ago already?!) and I'm working on getting a new workspace ready. This'll be our 3rd location since we moved and since we'll be in this duplex for at least a year I felt the need to settle in. It's wonderful to see my old supplies again! They're really like old friends...

I'm excited to reach the point where I can actually work in here even though right now it's more than a bit of a mess. Stay tuned! I have ideas and plans for LP!

I've been watching "Abstract: The Art of Design" on Netflix and feel more excited than when we would have motivational speakers come to my school as a kid. (Yes, I secretly liked those corney speeches...) The third episode featuring Es Devlin really hit home and made me think about what I want to do with art in the next chapter of my life - the chapter without major health issues. If you could do anything you wanted what would you do? Where would you start? (PS You CAN do whatever you want, btw.)

Well everyone, Mighty Tieton's bazaar went great last Saturday! I do have quite a bit of overstock left so if you're interested in getting some handmade loveliness for your holiday shopping let me know. I have old fashioned pinwheel ornaments, rose hip wreath ornaments, cedar-filled knitted tree ornaments, lots of felt flower pins and hair clips and also lots of fingerless gloves. The gloves are a huge hit with everyone that has purchased them (well... I suppose everything is) so seriously consider them for anyone you know with chilly, winter hands. Just shoot me a note if you're interested!

Here's how some of the rose hip ornaments turned out! They're much cuter in person... Only 3 more days 'til the Mighty Tieton Craft & Antique Bazaar!

These palm-sized trees have twice the purpose! While yes, they are great little ornaments for Christmastime or even just wintertime they ALSO are filled with moth repellant, sweet smelling cedar chips! They are hand knit by me with different colors of green yarn and different wool bases. The trunks are from the walnut tree branches in my yard. After the holidays they are great to hang in a closet or to put in a sweater drawer.

Something I've been putting a lot of effort in for this year are fingerless gloves. There are all different patterns and all different types of warmth. I like to wear mine with thin gloves or mittens underneath for extra coziness. They are available with or without the knitted thumb. ☺

These weird looking things (amongst some anatomical heart decorations) are rose hips strung and hung over the fire for drying. They'll be ornaments soon!

Look at these little guys! I have changed how I make them through the years and according to those that buy them at my booth they only get better. Each one has its own personality as it sits on a walnut tree stem from the tree in my yard. I find it hard to part with them sometimes and have several for my own tree but, trust me, there WILL be lots to choose from on December 3rd in Tieton. Yay!
