The weather has been so hot and humid it almost feels wrong to post a fur coat! Anyways, there are only 104 days until the first day of fall and official fur coat season. 🍂🤎

There was a season of life when I spent more than two months a year on the road with our mobile boutique. One year alone, we did 22 shows.

I loved it. The people, the travel, the excitement of building something from the ground up, and the customers who became friends along the way.

We live in a culture that celebrates being busy. But I’ve learned that some of life’s most meaningful moments happen when we slow down enough to truly be present for them.

Instead of chasing the next show, I’m learning to appreciate the beauty in ordinary days. The walks, the conversations, the little moments with my daughter that are so easy to miss when life gets busy.

And honestly, I’m grateful for this season.

Dakota Darling Furs remains one of my greatest passions. As the business has grown, so has my perspective on what matters most. 🫶🏼
