Welcome to The Funky Flamingo—aka your new favorite place to work and overshare with customers. Woman-owned, woman-run… plus my husband, who is just one of the girls. We’re in downtown Yellow Springs, so it’s giving: cute, chaotic, inclusive, and a little unhinged at times.
We’re an eclectic gift shop and plus-size clothing boutique serving one-of-a-kind finds, bold outfits, confidence boosts, and main character energy.
(No, you don’t have to be plus size to work her. All queens are welcome.)

* Make customers feel welcomed, valued, and lowkey obsessed with us.
* Keep the shop clean, stocked, organized, and not looking like we lost control of the situation.
* Jump in wherever needed—this is an all-hands-on-deck kind of place
* Keep the workplace fun, and lighthearted, and energetic.
* Help the owner not lose her mind (lowkey it’s a group effort).

* Friendly, outgoing, and can talk to literally anyone (yes… even that Karen).
* Reliable—if you’re on the schedule, you’re there. On time. Every time.
* Cool under pressure… or at least Oscar-worthy at pretending to be.
