Happy Calanmai to those who celebrate 🫢

I imagined this as Amarantha’s reaction as she agreed to allow Rhysand to go to The Spring Court on Calanmai, reluctant, controlling and trying too hard to keep her grip.

I also just thought she’d have some real baddie Lana Del Rey nails and that the general imagery of Under the Mountain sounded really cool πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ It seemed like a way to capture her aesthetic without glorifying her character, considering how evil she is. It was important to mirror the pain in Jurian’s eye with the eye of the Hellhound carved into her throne to express the pain she causes to not only her subjects but to the space around her.

This was one of the first paintings that made for Down the Bond and is my personal favorite πŸ–€ If you already have one of our prints thank you so much for your support! We’d love to see how you have them styled in your spaces 🫢

ruby.dixon is a SLUMP BUSTER! I don’t know what she does, but an Ice Planet Barbarians book can pull me out of the deepest book slump.

Needless to say, I’ve had to take break from my planned tbr to make a vacation to Not-Hoth and I’m glad that I did, Barbarian’s Prize might have been the cutest one yet, I can’t wait to start Josie’s book later today 🫢

β€œAnd what I saw,” I said quietly to him... β€œI think – I think I loved it. Forgave it – me. All of it.” It was only in that moment when I knew – I’d understood what the Suriel had meant. Only I could allow the bad to break me. Only I could own it, embrace it. And when I’d learned that…the Ouroboros had yielded to me.

This one’s for all of the readers who deeply related to Feyre’s brutal journey of self acceptance. I absolutely love seeing other bookish artists paint the scene, but we wanted to make something that almost felt more like a prop than a painting, thus the reflective mirror was born.

This took Andy Shingleton close to 30 total hours between two different paintings (rip trial 1, I liked you).

Watercolor, acrylic paint, oil paints, airbrushing and colored pencils were all used to capture this moment

We got The Ouroboros back from the printer and can not wait to put prints on the site. This took Andy Shingleton two tries and about what feels like an eternity to finish, probably close to 30 working hours. He used, airbrushing, oils, colored pencils, acrylic and watercolor to try and capture a snapshot of The Ouroboros 🐍

When I first started getting back into reading I couldn’t find any merch that fit my vibe, everything just seemed a little too clean girl or a little too cute for someone who partied like Bryce Quinlan all throughout their twenties ⚑️πŸͺ©πŸ¦„

Since launching I’ve learned that quite a few other people had the same idea, which is great because I love being part of a niche community that gets to make bookish merch for bad b!tches and it’s incredible to see how the same ideas are interpreted so differently!
