About two years ago I retired from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dept and closed my woodshop doors to pursue my new passion flying cargo and now corporate aircraft. Recently, my then shop partener, Tim Engle, reached out and was interested in reopening the shop doors and continuing the Wolfe Custom Challenge Coin Display tradition I had created… Good service, fair priceses, and quality craftsmenship. I spent a few weeks in the shop helping him and now he is in full swing and pumping out some really bad ass work! While flying around the country I will help him with marketing and sales while he does most of the shop work. So reach out to me or Tim if you are interested.

Wow, had a great time but glad that’s over… came here to Kansas Flight Safely thinking I was ready to be a professional pilot and soon realized where I really was… I got through it but wow do I have a lot to learn… I really thank West Air (Fedex) for this awesome opportunity, this training was at a level I’ve never seen before. I look forward to starting work next week in Ontario! I’ve had an exciting career path and it just keeps getting better.

To my social media family, Wolfe Custom Challenge Coin Displays is officially closed… I want to thank all of you who supported me (even if you did not buy one). I started this little woodshop business to give me something to do when I retired. I was so surprised how it took off. From the moment I opened the doors I had jobs coming in from all angles… Then I realized I wanted to move from LE to a paid commercial pilot job. The money I made from my woodshop paid for 75% of all my training, made my plane payment and paid my hanger rent. So for that again I thank you all! You have made this expensive venture affordable for me!! I have just finished up all of my flight training and have the required flight hours so now I’m actively applying for commercial pilot jobs. With the shortage of pilots I’m sure something will happen soon. I don’t want to be buried in work if I’m offered a job. So this month I’m finishing the jobs I have in progress and moving on. I’ve enjoyed doing business with all of you, take care and please be safe!
