🤎🌱I waited YEARS for this dress to sell. If you’re not in this business, you may not realize that some things fly off the rack the first time you put ‘em out. As a seller or maker, this is incredibly validating.
Others however, can get lugged around for years which can be a total downer. Frankly, there’ve been many times I’ve just bagged things up in frustration, donated them and taken a loss. But you can’t do that with the special or unique items. You have to keep the faith that the right person will eventually come along.
AND WHEN THEY DO, ITS MAGIC! They’ve either been “looking for something just like it,” or it fits them so perfectly, or it suits them unquestionably, or all of the above. Suddenly, you realize why you hung onto it for so long. Why you didn’t give up. And this too, becomes incredibly validating.
P.S. This dress was tagged 1X, which may’ve deterred others throughout the years. But as you can see, someone much smaller fell in love with it, rolled up the sleeves and made it their own.🫶🏽
