Dan Schantz is a Large Grower near Allentown Pennsylvania that supplies Walmart with their Live annual flowers. Dan Schantz Greenhouses also provides a merchandising team to assist Walmart in maintaining live plants in all categories.
Currently Dan Schantz is hiring area supervisors to start immediately. Merchandising Supervisors are Full Time Seasonal Positions (40+ Hours per week during seasons, laid off during seasonal lulls.) Layoffs depend on the needs of the business and are common early July – mid August, mid-October – mid November, and the end of December- beginning of February.
Work weeks are generally Monday – Friday and some weekend days when business peaks. Start and end times can be flexible and worked out with leadership.
Merchandising Supervisor is a traveling position that will and oversee merchandisers and operations in multiple locations in an area of 3-5 stores. We currently have 3 positions open that include…

• Greensburg, North Versailles, North Huntingdon
• Uniontown, Mt Pleasant, Connellsville
Dan Schantz Greenhouses pays weekly. The Merchandising Supervisor Position has a competitive hourly payrate, paid travel time, and expense reimbursement for any miles driven over 30 per day, and approved job-related supplies.
Position Qualifications include…
• Passing a MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
• Passing a drug test
• Reliable Transportation
• Has a Smart Phone able to download work related apps, send/receive photos, emails, and texts.
• Able to spend most work hours on your feet.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift, push, pull… 30lbs.
