Meet the artisans at our Paysandú cooperative. Honouring craftsmanship, they carry forward, with love and patience, the traditions of the women that came before them.

They weave in old wooden looms, make yarns by hand and dye in small batches, respecting time and protecting natural resources.

Artisans are at the heart of Manos, they take part in decision-making around the future of the cooperative, and shape the knowledge pool that keeps traditional craft alive.

Did you know that every Manos garment has the name of the artisan who crafted it handwritten on the hangtag?
