🪶✨ A dreamlike bird, a purposeful piece
Hoy el homenaje es a una especie nativa y amenazada: el Yetapá.
La tijereta de las pajas no solo vuela entre los pastizales del sur… ahora también habita este objeto con detalles únicos.
Con solo 20g de peso y un largo total que, gracias a sus largas plumas, puede alcanzar los 30cm, el Yetapá es pura elegancia en vuelo.
El proceso de esta pieza fue tan delicado como el ave que la inspira:
🎨 Ilustrada en acuarela sobre papel
🖊️ Digitalizada, intervenida y estampada con técnica DTF (que usa menos tinta y agua) sobre lana merino 100% uruguaya de Megatex
🧵 Se realzaron detalles con bordado a mano
👜 Y finalmente, el toque de Tenaz, con su trabajo artesanal, transformándola en esta original cartera hecha a mano en Uruguay.

Today, we pay tribute to a native and endangered species: the Yetapá.
Known as the strange-tailed Tyrant, it no longer flies only over the southern grasslands… it now also lives on this uniquely crafted piece.
Weighing just 20g, and with tail feathers that can stretch its full length to 30cm, the Yetapá is pure elegance in motion.
The process behind this piece was as delicate as the bird that inspired it:

🖊️ Digitized, enhanced and printed using DTF (a technique that reduces ink and water use) on 100% Uruguayan merino wool by

👜 And finally, Tenaz brought it to life as this one-of-a-kind, handmade leather bag from Uruguay.
