Just finished this beautiful made-to-order set and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

A soft floral dress for mum with a matching little piece, and a sweet pink dress with a delicate collar — all made with lots of care, cozy fabrics, and attention to every little detail. 🌸

It truly makes my day when customers love their custom orders, and I’m so grateful to be part of creating something special for them. These pieces were such a joy to sew, and I hope they’ll be worn for many lovely moments.

Mom-made, with patience and love.

My student sent me this video. She’s not new to sewing but this was her first time really stepping into pattern drafting. From understanding the shape, to cutting with intention, to sewing it all together… she captured the whole journey of making a dress for her daughter.

There’s something so special about seeing that shift—from following to truly creating. And even more special when it’s made for someone you love.

She came to the workshop with almost no sewing experience—just curiosity and a “let’s see how this goes” kind of energy....

She’s back home for a short visit — just a couple of weeks with family. But in between all of that, she made time for something she’s been wanting to do for a while.

She already sews. She’s made pieces for her family, worked with fabric in her own way, learned through doing. But this time, she wanted to understand it more deeply — how patterns actually work, how to draft them properly from the start. So today was her first class.

There’s something really special about that kind of intention… not starting from zero, but choosing to go back and learn the foundation.

We kept it simple, slow, and focused — just the beginning.

Her last class, trying on one of her latest pieces.
Over the past weeks, she’s been quietly building her skills — piece by piece, project by project. This set is one of many things she has sewn during the course, and seeing it come together like this feels really special.
There’s something about trying on your own work… noticing the fit, the details, the small decisions along the way — it all becomes real in that moment.
It’s been such a joy to see her progress — in both skill and confidence with each piece she creates.

After just 2 classes of learning 2D pattern drafting, she recreated this top—and made it her own. From understanding the structure to handling the fabric and details, it’s such a big step.
