A warm weekend at the studio ❤️

People come to sewing classes for many reasons — to learn a new skill, to try something different during their travels, to step away from computer screens, or simply to create something with their hands.

But often, something else happens too.

Between stitching, cutting fabric, and figuring out sewing techniques, people meet, chat, share stories about life, work, travels, families, and creativity. There are laughs, mistakes, problem solving, quiet moments of focus… and somehow, a small sense of community forms around the sewing table.

I love that sewing classes can be more than just learning how to sew. They can also be a space to slow down, connect, and enjoy making something meaningful together

I never thought of my studio that way, but I absolutely love the comparison. A calm little space to slow down, create, learn, make mistakes, make beautiful things, and enjoy the process together.

Friday morning at the sewing class.

Some students are halfway through their sewing course, some are just beginning their very first lesson, and some joined a workshop during their short trip to Danang.

Different backgrounds, different stages, but all sharing the joy of learning, creating, and making something with their own hands.

I’m always grateful to meet such lovely people and to accompany them on their sewing journey, whether it’s for one workshop or a longer course.
